Kohler brings you Singing in the Shower

Singing in the shower comes to a whole new level.  Now you don't have to bring your music to the bathroom.  With bluetooth connections you just have to hit play.

Kohler recently released Moxie, a $199 bluetooth and speaker.  The Moxie speaker plays wirelessly in or out of the shower, so you can charge it up to use in the kitchen or take to the beach.

Well it is Christmas time and some of you will be buying a tablet.  This article is about the Nexus 7, Kindle Fire HD, and the Ipad mini. CNET reviews the 3 products side by side.  There are also link to full product reviews.  I love CNET as they tell you when they have a preference and why it is.

Is Apple making products in America again

iFixit has turn down some new iMacs and found made in America labels.  This is a departure from shipping all assembly jobs overseas to China.  We are gonna need more answers from Apple but if true it is good that our money maybe finally helping Americans again.

Android apps need help!!!!

http://news.cnet.com/8301-1023_3-57553967-93/facebook-uses-posters-to-push-employees-to-switch-to-android/

I have an iPhone not because I'm in love with it but because of the apps.  Everyone  know who leaves Apple and goes to Android complains about the quality of the apps.  Regularly on trips my wife borrows my phone because my apps are more efficient than the same Android app she has.

Well here is confirmation.  Facebook is encouraging its employees to get Android phones.  This is not that they are in love with Android.  They are doing this to  to make the Facebook app better on Android.

I would love to drop my iPhone someday.  I see the hardware on the Android side and I drool with envy at times.  But I have to ask what good is great hardware if the software is going to drive me crazy.

Start Menu not the big problem for Microsoft.

When you are designing new products, please make them compatible with each other. So I was reading how with the ouster of Microsoft executive Steven Sinofsky, Microsoft may bring back the start button to the new Microsoft Windows 8.

But the line that got me the most wast that software written for the Windows 8 doesn't work on the Surface.  The Surface uses a ARM chip and most computers have a Intel chip.  Microsoft had to make a new version of Office for the Surface and it is dumb-downed.

I was thinking of the getting the Surface but if the software is not compatible across product lines, that explains why Apple is winning the tablet market.

Facebook can get you fired!!!!!

As Fox 40 in Sacramento records it, she wrote: "Another 4 years of this n*****. Maybe he will get assassinated this term."

Well some people lost there minds after the elections.  I try to remind people that although we have freedom of speech, there can be consequences to what they say and write.  This lady lost her job because she said a racial slur and then said she wouldn't be sad if the president was assassinated.  People fail to realize that employers do not want controversy that you create.  They have no need for new agencies outside the company with cameras and boycotts because you work there.

"This employee is no longer w/the company & her disgraceful and completely unacceptable comments do not reflect our views," Cold Stone Creamery tweeted.

Now she needs protection from the police and I hope that she is ok.  She thought her Facebook was private but nothing ever stays in the dark.  It will be brought out into the light.  Be careful what you post and do online.  Many social media site are they same as yelling your thoughts naked on the street corner.

Surface tension: Acer needs to shut up about Microsoft tablet

http://news.cnet.com/8301-1035_3-57545406-94/surface-tension-acer-needs-to-shut-up-about-microsoft-tablet/

Acer needs to let it go.  They will not hurt Microsoft with all their whining.  It just makes them appear petty and weak.  Microsoft will also get even and that will not be good for business.
